As a leading aesthetics clinic here in Buckinghamshire, we work hard to keep our patients safe and comfortable at all times – particularly during the ongoing pandemic. Our founder and lead doctor, Dr Patel, has been extensively involved in planning and prevention during the coronavirus in his NHS role, so is well-versed and knowledgeable in the appropriate risk assessments and safety measures. Here’s what you can expect when you book a consultation at our aesthetics clinic, once lockdown measures are lifted.
Appointment Spacing
It’s important to give every patient the opportunity to be seen, however this must be balanced with the latest guidance on appointment spacing. In between our consultations, we allow for time to clean and prepare the space for the next patient and to ensure we keep overall patient numbers down in the waiting areas of our aesthetics clinic. Please rest assured that during lockdown periods, we are creating waiting lists for our long-term, loyal patients, who will be prioritised first.
Temperature Checks
A key symptom of coronavirus is a high temperature or fever, so as part of our process, we screen all patients for temperature on arrival. This helps put our patients’ minds at rest and is just one more measure we can introduce to promote the safety of all who attend our aesthetics clinic here in Buckinghamshire.
Pre-Consult Screening
As well as ensuring our patients are screened for their temperature on the day of their appointment, we also carry out a pre-consult screening assessment to check for any other symptoms of COVID-19 or illness. If our patients do show any signs of coronavirus, we are able to offer virtual consultations in place of our face-to-face appointments, or can reschedule your slot at no extra charge.
Social Distancing
We have helped ensure our aesthetics clinic is a safe environment by following government guidance on social distancing. This means reducing the number of patients who can be inside our clinic at any one time, as well as implementing signs to allow for adequate spacing.
Face Masks & PPE
We work closely with our patients to ensure they achieve results they love. However, with the ongoing pandemic, we have adjusted our approach and implemented PPE to protect both our doctors and our patients. This includes measures such as wearing disposable face masks and visors.
Regulated CQC Clinic
Cleaning and handwashing are two key ways of reducing the spread of coronavirus. We have followed guidance from the CQC (Quality Care Commission) to ensure cleaning protocols and heightened health and safety measures are in place at all times.
