What are lip fillers and how do they work?

The active ingredient is hyaluronic acid which is a natural part of the dermal skin layer. It is temporary and will integrate with the surrounding tissue over a period of weeks to months. The result should feel soft and not lumpy.
How long will the result last?

Results will typically last up to 12 months
How I know if I am suitable for the treatment?

We are doctors with extensive medical backgrounds and are able to ensure safety by taking your full medical history. We’ll let you know if treatment isn’t advisable and won’t carry out lip enhancement injections if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding.
Can I be treated on the same day?

If you’re suitable for the treatment and are happy to go ahead, then we can carry out the lip enhancement injections on the same day. However, you’re never under any obligation to go ahead with any treatment and the decision is always yours. We don’t believe in being pushy – only in supporting our clients to make informed decisions that are right for them.
How quickly do I see results?

Results are evident immediately but will continue to develop over the following 7 – 14 days. Lips can become a little swollen for 24 – 48 hours following a lip enhancement treatment so we suggest avoid planning social events for 24 – 48 hours. This is completely normal and will subside over a couple of days.
How much will it cost?

Lip augmentation is unique to each client and will depend on amount of product used. Prices typically start from £275.
